He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dearinger and Joyce Dearinger (Abrell); his sister Llinda Hoover; and his grandparents, Theordore, Myrtle Abrell, William and Anna Dearinger.

He is survived by: his sons, Ryan and Brock Dearinger; the mother of his children Sandy Williams; and his siblings, Kimberly Frasier (Rodney), Ted Dearinger, Jeff Dearinger, John Dearinger (Renee) and Elaine Scaggs (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
