He is survived by: his sister Virginia Kersey Sheldon of Highlands Ranch, CO; his sister-in-law Marthene Dickey of Powder Springs, GA; his children, Alan R. Kersey (Linda), Kristin K. Oren (Brandon) and Michael R. Kersey (Trisha); his grandchildren, Corinne K. Wilson (Chandler), J. Austin Oren (Alyson), Sam S. Kersey, Sarah V. Kersey, Nora Jayne Kersey, Mary O. Jonsson (Robert), John N. Kersey, Katherine E. Kersey, Robert M. Kersey (Gabriella), Stephen R. Kersey, Daniel E. Kersey (Sarah), Michael A. Kersey and Christina N. Kersey; and his great grandchildren, Melissa M. Oren and James L. Jonsson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
