He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Liechty Brown; his parents, Robert Brown and Helen Brown; his brother Gilford Brown; and his sister-in-law Elsie Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Churbock (late Jay) of Muncie, Amy Grasso (Mark) of Muncie and David Brown (Kim) of Kokomo; his grandchildren, Kyle Carmichael (Whitney), Victoria Engle (Jabez), Caroline Hostetler (Tyler), Lydia Rybicki (Austyn), Katelyn Howard (Jacob) and Catherine Grasso; his great grandchildren, Clover Carmichael, Kizer Carmichael, Kosten Carmichael and Charlotte Hostetler; and his close friend Elaine Dick.
