It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shannon Johnson of Muncie, Indiana, born in Morehead, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan Johnson and Grace Johnson (McFarland). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Johnson (Clevenger); his children, Jacquelyn "Jacky" Johnson (Jeff), Dale Johnson (Peggy), Dennis Johnson and Dana Peters (Doug); and his brothers, Virgil Johnson, Darrell Johnson and Rodney Johnson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
