He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph D. Wormer (Darrell) and Crystal Wormer (Whitmire); his siblings, Cynthia Lynn Wormer and Jeffrey Allen Wormer; and his niece Malia Wormer.

He is survived by: his son Brayden Wormer; his siblings, Randy Wormer (Rita) of Blountsville, IN, Mike Wormer (Marcia) of Columbus, IN and Lori Ramsey (Reeder) of Muncie, IN.; his nephews, Brandon Wormer (Dawn) of Columbus, IN, Nick Ramsey (Meghan) and Brian Ramsey (Annie); and his niece Sara Holt (Kyle) of Muncie, IN..
