She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsel Hammel and Anna Hammel (Brown); and her sister Marsha Bertran. She is survived by: her husband Richard Tweedy; her children, Mark Tweedy, Derika Patterson (Gregory) and Jason Tweedy; her grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Kenneth), Joshua Niccum (Andrea), Zachariah Tweedy, Jameson Tweedy and Kaleb Tweedy; her great grandchildren, Mariah Patterson, Tatiana Smith, Aiden Smith, Frankie Jean Niccum and Addison Niccum; and her brother Richard Hammel.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305).
