She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dewayne "Duke" McGill and June McGill (Hier); her husband Vernon Lee Jackson; her children, Leslie Pannell, Brian Smith (Angie), Michael Smith (Kim), Nicholas Jackson (NaShica), Richard Jackson (Maria) and Vernon Turner (Trina); her siblings, Bruce McGill, Pete Dick (Peggy), Martha Jo Smith and Beth Sharp (Corey); her daughter-in-law Dawn Smith; her sister-in-law Betty McGill; her close friend Mary Sones; her stepfather Wayne Dick; her son Scott Smith; her grandson David Smith; and her nephew Geoffrey McGill. She was also cherished by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
