He was predeceased by: his parents, George Earl and Nellie Hazel Helm (Mannix); and his brother Donald Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Helm (Collins); his children, Daniel L. Hunt, Jr. of Gaston, Nannette C. Bell of Muncie and Janna J. Knott (Kevin) of Yorktown; and his grandchildren, Keshia M. Bell of Indianapolis, Corey M. Bell of Selma and Brittany N. Knott of Batesville. He is also survived by two nieces; several great nieces and great nephews.
