She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Collins and Rita Collins (Sutter); her husband Alva Hugh Hoots; and her siblings, Jerry Collins and Marg Reed.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Cox (Danny), Randy Hoots (Lori) and Becky Petty (Jack); her grandchildren, JD Petty (Courtney), Travis Petty, Doug Petty (Olivia Gilpin), Tanner Hoots (Danielle) and Collin Hoots; her great grandchild Jack Preston; and her siblings, James Collins, Arlene Ayers (Mike) and Sandy Young. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
