With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Cannady of Muncie, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Belt (Bill) and Thelma Belt; her son-in-law Mark Zacharias; and her close friend Patty Dakin. She is survived by: her spouse Gene Cannady; her children, Kelli Tobin, Ginger Zacharias, Lee Anne Bertram, Becky Isbell (David) and Lisa Cannady; her grandchildren, Zachary Tobin (Amanda), Skylar Bex (Caitlyn), Stacy Tobin Jr. (Baylee), Kaylee Woodruff (Daniel), Sarah Zacharias, Cheryl Cross, Dallas Isbell (Brittany), Levi Isbell (Kate) and Malisha Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Soephiah Bex, Skyler Bex Jr., Maverick Tobin, Ruby Tobin, Cheyanne Miller, Trace Tobin, Fayelynn Woodruff, Mark Woodruff, Bentley Woodruff, Harmony Gabbard, Raylee Isbell, Miya Isbell, Jade Isbell, Atreus Isbell and Faith Gabbard. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home (4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
