He is survived by: his wife Charissa; his children, Alisa (Jim Daniels) and Scott (Rachael); his grandchildren, Riley Daniels Vespoli (Jason), Henry and Harper Springman; his siblings, Mark (Lori) and Gayle Kurek (Rob); his niece Erin Springman; and his nephew Connor Kurek (Liz).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Horizon Convention Center (301 S High St, Muncie, IN 47305).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Steve's spirit of generosity and community support.
