It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Jane Penrod in Muncie, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ellen (Fort) and Harry Mart; and her children, Daniel Paul Penrod, Susan Dawn Penrod and Gaige.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Penrod, Matthew Penrod, Jace, Preslee and Jebediah; her grandchildren, Lane, Evelyn and Wayde; and her children, Joshua, Aria, Brayden and Tristan.

In Lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to be made to The Children's Hospital of Colorado Springs and Compassion International Colorado Springs.
