It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terence Dale Rees (Muncie, Indiana), who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Rees and Esther "West" Rees; his wife Rosemary L. "Martin" Rees; his son Allan Rees; and his siblings, Gladys Green, Mary Craig of Virginia, Betty Chambers, Ruth Reese, Roland Rees and Harold Rees.

He is survived by: his children, Tim Rees (Dawn) of Elida Ohio and Tamarah Lefevre (Nick) of Noblesville, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Kevin Lefevre (DeLayne), Angie Wegner (John), Jill Hiatt (Brian), Erin Joseph (Josh) and Ben Rees; his great grandchildren, Olivia Lefevre, Alex Lefevre, Avery Wegner, Sydney Wegner, Hannah Hiatt, Madison Hiatt, Gabrielle Hiatt and Tavi Joseph; and his siblings, Harry Rees, Barbara Cook and Phyliss Cullen.

“Uncle Dale’s brother and my father, Harry, always spoke of his “Irish twin” in such a fond way. The two of them shared a special bond that only brothers can, and time and distance cannot erase. Even now with my dad’s cognitive abilities diminishing, the mention of his brother’s name will always make him smile. I believe the mention of Uncle Dale’s name to many others also brings smiles to their faces. As my dad said, “Dale is close to God now”, and now angels are smiling in Heaven.”
