He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Avis Adams and Gracie Adams; his former spouse Jewell Adams; his wife Martha Adams (Jewell); his brothers, Arnold Adams and Bobby Adams; and his daughter-in-law Peggy Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Adams, Mark F. Adams (Margaret) of Muncie, Paul Adams (Denice Donavon) of Muncie and Larry Peterson of Muncie; his stepdaughter Judy Hyre (Phillip) of Haleyville, AL; his grandchildren, Mark F. Adams II (Tamilyn), Brandon Rigney, Haley Adams, Scott Peterson, Tony Peterson (Rose), David Donavon and Randy Lee; his siblings, Wanda Crowder (Jim), Glyn Adams, James Adams and George Adams (Ethilyn); and his sister-in-law Diane Adams. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
