He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shady and Juanita Shady; his parents-in-law, Melvin and Madelyn Sewell (Brown); his siblings, Donald (Carol), Robert (Marge), David, John Shady and Carolyn Revis; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Terry and Bob Sewell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Karen Standish (Craig) and Kris Shady; his sister Mary Arbogast; his siblings-in-law, Myra Shady, Pam Painter (David) and Don Terry; his grandchildren, Nathan Bowman (Amanda), Megan Bilyeu (Justin), Caleb Standish, Nathan Shady (Bailey), Nicholas Shady and Julia Shady; and his great grandchildren, Mya Bowman, Hailey Bowman, Jameson Bilyeu, Madelyn Bilyeu, Brookson Bilyeu and Reagan Shady. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
