He was predeceased by: his father William Louis Dodds "Bill"; his son Derek R. Dodds; and his sister JoEllen Dodds. He is survived by: his mother Della M. Wehmeyer (Freeman); his son Mark W.; his daughter-in-law Alissa A. Dodds of Albany; his stepfather John Wehmeyer of Muncie; his stepson Josh Dixon (Rhonda Rutledge) of Indiana; his grandchildren, D. J. Dodds, Gracelyn Dodds, Halea Kenipe (Bryan), McKenzie Dodds, Maverick Dodds, Devon Dixon and Cody Dixon; his great grandchildren, Quinn Kenipe and Colt Kenipe; and his sister Julie Ann Myers (Daniel) of Muncie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
