She was predeceased by: her parents, Osa Franklin and Cleta Franklin (Adkins); her husband George Archie Thomas; and her siblings, Shirley Franklin, Joyce Foster, Dorothy Hoover, Irene Murphy and Sadie York.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Kimbrough (Kevin) and Jeanine Thomas; her grandchildren, Courtney Kimbrough (Nicklaus Hill) and Caitlyn Spradlin (Elijah); and her great grandchildren, Roman Hill, Freya Hill and Weston Spradlin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
