Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Porras and Florence Porras; and his sister Monica Rico (Pete). He is survived by: his siblings, Cecilia Guzman (late Joe), Mark Porras (Irene), Steve Porras (Sonia) and Vera Pena (Art).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burns Kish Funeral Homes & Cremations - Munster (8415 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Church (9640 Kennedy Ave, Highland, IN 46322). A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Mt. Mercy/Ridgelawn Cemetery.
