It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher P. Duray of Munster, Indiana, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Duray and Catherine Duray (Simala); and his siblings-in-law, Albert, Ann Konechni (Mihalsky) and Theresa Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Duray (Konechni); his daughter Kristine Piraino (Rob); his grandchildren, Emilia and Elias; his siblings, Louise Cengel (George), David Duray (Kathy), Mark Duray (Mimi), Mary Poppen (Bob) and Ann Plummer (Joseph); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Modrak (William) and Thomas Richards. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his loving memory to Hospice of the Calumet Area or St. Thomas More School.
