He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Piniak and Charlotte Piniak; and his sister Dorothy Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Burdette Piniak (Burdee); his daughter Heather Piniak (Brian Dunaway); and his sister Patricia Cieslak. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burns Kish Funeral Homes & Cremations - Munster (8415 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (8501 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321).
