He is survived by: his mother-in-law Anne Nastav; his brother-in-law Emil Nastav (Sherry); his children, Jennifer Powell (Anthony), Chris Spitzer (Phyllis), Michelle Brand (Steve), Jacqueline Cotreau (Shawn) and Ben Spitzer; his siblings, Deborah Sanchez (Joe) and Tom Spitzer; his grandchildren, Alex Powell, Nick Powell (Abigail), Sara Taylor, Riley Wyrzykowski, Cole Cotreau, Dylan Cotreau and Cash Cotreau; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Williams, Tom Nastav, Christina Sandmeyer, Rachel Lawson, John Nastav, Kaleigh Rardin (Eric) and Kelsey Sanchez.
