In loving memory of Elaine N. Pellar (Munster, Indiana), who departed this world on June 4, 2025 at the age of 94. Elaine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Pierson and Nell Pierson; her husband Joseph Pellar; her brother Richard Pierson; and her children-in-law, Ann Pellar and John McCormack.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine; and her grandchildren, Katie Hurey (Brandon), Kelly Glaros (Matthew), Joseph Pellar (Laura), Emma Glass (Austin), Adam Pellar (Jenna), Stephanie Patterson (Logan), Nick Pellar (Danae) and Michael Hayes (Brooke). She is also survived by her 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kish Funeral Home (10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Family Christian Center Church (340 45th St, Munster, IN 46321). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calumet Park Cemetery (2305 W 73rd Ave, Merrillville, IN 46410).
