We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2020, Francis Kunkel of Munster, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife A. Pauline Kunkel; and his siblings, George, William, Edward, Richard, Robert, Arthur, Ruth and Irene.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Young (Dane) and Mary Mahurin (Mikeal); and his grandson Logan.

Those attending the visitation and service are required to wear masks and to follow social distancing protocols. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Franciscan Health Foundation's COVID-19 Franciscan Preparedness & Response Fund (http://www.franciscanhealthfoundation.org).
