She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic Gismondi; her parents, Edward Chyzy and Ann Chyzy; and her brother Richard Chyzy. She is survived by: her children, Gail Tengstrand and Michael Gismondi (Wendy); her grandchildren, Eric Tengstrand (Jessica), Amy Hendron (Shawn), Michael Gismondi (Danielle) and Lauren Young (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Dominic Hendron, Camryn Hendron, Mac Young and Cecilia Gismondi.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home Chapel (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
