Isabelino left this world on May 21, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his former wife Victoria Soto Candelaria; his son Isabelino Jr.; his grandson Israel Candelaria Mejias; and his brothers, Modesto and Sergio Candelaria.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Carlos (Barbara), Rey (Frances), Mara Candelaria Reardon (Matthew) and Christian Candelaria (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Josue, David, Joshua, Isabela, Luca, Eliana, Maya, Christian, Victoria, Carlo and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Jude and Ocean; and his sister Lydia Aguila. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Innsbrook Country Club (6701 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
