He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Rossi and Maria Rossi (Mazzocco); his daughter Bernadette Rossi Miller; his wife Dorothy Rossi (Dotsi); his siblings, Anthony (Infant), Ralphina Gornick (Tancey), Genevieve Marco (Dom), Elizabeth Arlow (Joe) and Dorothy Jurkash (John); his parents-in-law, Marija and John Novak; Mary Kuhel (Frank), John Novak (Louise), Louis Novak (Helen), Joseph Novak (Clara), Theresa Novak, Josephine "Phinie" Hvala (Frank), Johanna "Jennie" Selenik (Frank "Cooney") and Rudolf Novak (Frances).
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Rossi (Diane), Therese Rossi, Anne Rossi and James A Rossi, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kristin Hoffmann (Dan), Gianna Hartman (Michael), Anthony Rossi (Rachel), Angela Rossi and Donald Rossi; and his great grandchildren, Elyse and Adele Hoffmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Honor Flight Chicago or Hospice of the Calumet Area.
