With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanette L. Macknyk of Munster, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2026 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zbos and Josephine Zbos; her husband John Macknyk; her daughter Barbara Macknyk; and her siblings, Mary Moses (late Edward), Anne Wolframski (late Raymond), Helen Zbos, Loretta Zbos and Walter Zbos (late Dorothy).
She is survived by: her siblings, John Zbos (late Virginia) and Evelyn Testa (late Oscar); her sons, John Macknyk (Barb) of Schererville, IN, Richard Macknyk (Kathleen) of Murfreesboro, TN and James Macknyk (Kay) of Powell, OH; and her grandchildren, Katelyn and Daniel. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
