He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Oesterle and Lucy Oesterle (Granger). He is survived by: his wife Teri Oesterle (Lindley); and his daughters, Cat, Lauren and Gail Oesterle.
He dedicated his life to the service of many nonprofits including the United Way, Hammond Parks Foundation/Wolfe Lake, the YMCA, Jaycees, North Central College, the Orak Shrine, Lake County Court House Foundation and more.
