In loving memory of Karen (Mattson) G. Adams of Munster, Indiana, born in Blue Island, Illinois, who departed this world on May 4, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by : her husband David; and her parents, Richard Mattson and Thelma Mattson. She is survived by : her children, Michael Adams (Noel) of Santa Paula, CA, Katherine Zigterman (Roger) of Cedar Lake, IN, Robert Adams (Nancy) of Homewood, IL and David J. Adams (Jennifer) of Charleston, SC.; her grandchildren, Brian Adams (Andrea), Joseph Adams, Alexander Adams, Kevin Adams (Ali), Matthew Adams (Emily), Isaac Adams, Jasmine Piescik (Joseph) and Joshua Adams; her great grandchildren, Anna and Emily; her siblings, Diane Sosnoski (Leonard) and William Mattson (Leticia); and her sisters-in-law, Judith DeVries (Raymond) and Charlotte Zegers (Melvin). She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (3440 178th St, Lansing, IL 60438).

Among our many fond memories is watching Karen guide a tour from her favorite spot at Shedd Aquarium - IN - the Caribbean Reef exhibit.
