She was predeceased by: her father Harry Louis VandeVort; her husband Richard M. Parbst; her son Thomas Dietrich; her granddaughter Shayna Levenberg; and her siblings, Jacqueline Zufall (Cliff) and Harry Louis VandeVort Junior (Patricia).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Farris (Tom) of Muncie, IN, Paula Dietrich (Michael Gurley) of Denver, CO and Kaia McShane (Brian) of Munster, IN; her grandchildren, Courtney Farris, Justin Farris (Emily), Jeffrey Levenberg (Doreen), Nikolas Levenberg, Alexandra Levenberg (Timothy DiGiulio), Samuel Levenberg, Kelly Colby (Nicholas), Megan Uihlein (Timothy) and Evan McShane (Kaitlyn Hobbs); her great grandchildren, Vincent Farris, Stuart Farris, Luca DiGiulio, Audrey Colby, Lucy Colby, Max Uihlein and Jack Uihlein; and her caregiver Karla Snyder.
