With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Bernicky of Munster, Indiana, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Louise departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Louise may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Louise leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Valentino Bernicky; and her parents, Peter Rasmussen and Elizabeth Rasmussen. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Bernicky (Kathy) and Scott Bernicky (Mary); her grandchildren, Shawn Bernicky (Jeanine), Amanda Bernicky and Michael Bernicky (Delaina); and her great grandchild Will Bernicky.
We'd also like to thank the staff at the Riley House for their kindness and loving care while Mom was there and all those who donate and work to make this quality end-of-life care possible.
