She was predeceased by: her husband Basil Rippey; her daughter Mary Rippey Anderson; her parents, Sydney Welsh and Helen Welsh; and her brother Sydney Welsh, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Michael Rippey (Cherie) and Peg Gonzales (Joel); her grandchildren, Kevin Rippey (Ashley Smith), Megan Kroloff (Caleb), Katie Burk (Seth), Colleen Turner (Eric), Bridget, Emily, Maggie Anderson, Kathleen and Erin Gonzales; her great grandchild Clara Burk; and her siblings, Jim, Bob Welsh and Rose Wagner (Bob). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
