He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Riley and Charlotte R. Riley; and his brothers, William J. Riley, Charles H. Riley and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Riley; his children, Linda Riley and Michael Riley Jr.; and his sister Kathy Riley.
