“Dear Patriarch Kozak, Marla and Tracie, Our hearts are broken for your loss. When Jeff and I and our large family moved into the ward Pat was the Relief Society President. It is so hard to make a move cross country leaving friends and she was so kind, welcoming, and concerned, offering much support. It felt like a warm security blanket when she came to me that way. She remained a wonderful friend and again welcomed us to the temple when we returned to Illinois several years later. We loved her”
