He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine "Gerrie" Triemstra; his sisters, Esther Lagestee (late Harry), Helen Klompmaker (late Edward), Ruth Daehn (late George) and Emily Van Zuidam (late Michael); his grandchildren, Adam Powell, Kathryn Powell and Bethany Powell; and his parents, Jacob Triemstra and Lena Triemstra.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Powell (Rick), Carl Triemstra (Faith), Cheri Triemstra and Dean Triemstra; his grandchildren, Joshua Powell (Sarah), Aaron Powell (Leah), Kaitlyn Powell, Rachel Bardolph (Brian), Justin Triemstra (Rachel), Meghan Terpstra, Zachary Terpstra (Veronica Marziani), Griffin Terpstra (Tiffany), Jakob Triemstra and Lillian Triemstra; and his great grandchildren, Walter, Nadine, Henry, Sydney, Christian, Clara, Lucas, Calvin, Peter, Emma, Isabelle, Adrianna, Daniella, Grace, Jessa, Leo, Stella and Willa.
