He is survived by: his son Elliot Gabel (Katy); his grandchildren, Rowan Gabel, Evelyn Gabel and Addison Wolak; his brothers, Scott Gabel (Christine), Brian Gabel and Peter Gabel; and his nieces and nephews, Jenna, Audra, Addi, Bradley, Nick and Josh.
