She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Eberhardt; her parents, Mary Frances and James McCann; her daughter Rebecca Eberhardt; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy and John Backus.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Eberhardt (Cari) and Elizabeth Mako (Anthony Sr.); her sisters, Sharon Hughes (Alan), JoAnne McCann and Patricia McCann; her grandchildren, Krystal Eberhardt, William Eberhardt, Michelle Johnson, Anthony Mako Jr., Ashley Mako and Thomas Mako; and her great grandchild River Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the World Literacy Foundation to keep her passion for reading and education alive.
