He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Carlson; his parents, Ed Carlson and Grace Carlson; his in-laws, Pete and Peg Stabler; his grandchildren, Justin and Olivia Carlson; and his siblings, Betty Kresach, Shirley Zick (William), Virginia Richardson (Stanley), Robert Carlson (Donna) and Richard Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, William Carlson Jr. (Stacey), Mary Jo Pape (David) and Timothy Carlson (Brooke); his grandchildren, Allyce, Kristina, Bobby, Jake, Claire, Will and Cameryn; his siblings-in-law, Lois Stabler (late John), Carol Carlson (late Richard) and John Kresach (late Betty); and his pet Hazel. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
