With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne Cecilia Della Rocco in Munster, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 81. As we bid Yvonne Cecilia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Yvonne Cecilia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Baltrus and Florence Baltrus (Pavel); and her brother Richard Baltrus (James). She is survived by: her children, James J Della Rocco (Beth) of Indianapolis, Renee Downs (Glenn) of Munster and Robert Della Rocco of Munster; and her grandchildren, Jacob Della Rocco, Devin Downs and Anna Della Rocco.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Thomas More Chapel (8501 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321).
