She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Sajn; her parents, Ivan Barberich and Anna Barberich; her siblings, Ivan (Marica), Vlado (Ivka), Barbara Laic (Frank) and Rosa Dorin (Anton); and her brother-in-law Steve Prahovic.
She is survived by: her son Branko (Monica); her grandsons, Michael (Mary), David (Catherine), Philip (Angela) and Mark (Tara); her sister Nada Prahovic (late Steve); and her sister-in-law Ivka Barberic (late Vlado). She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (8501 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321).
