Cora Helmuth Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Helmuth of Nappanee, Indiana, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John R Knepp and Anna D. Knepp (Yoder); her husband John J. Helmuth; her granddaughter Hannah Helmuth; her great grandchildren, Hannah Kauffman and Heidi Kauffman; her siblings, Roy, Chris, Daniel, John, Enos, William Knepp, Susan Yoder, Katie Schrock, Clara Yoder and Anna Mae Farmwald; and her half-brother Fred W. Yoder.

She is survived by: her children, Ivan Ray Helmuth (Katie Beechy) of Middlebury, IN, Jerry Wayne Helmuth (Alma Kuhns), Martha Sue Miller (Robert), Henry Allen Helmuth (Edna Miller), Katie Marie Kuhns (Paul) of Bremen, IN and Melvin J. Helmuth (Rachel Hochstetler); her stepbrother Albert Mullet (Mary) of Topeka, IN; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Knepp of Shipshewana. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren; 120 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Family Residence (276 Beech Rd, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
