He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Mose, Tillie Bontrager, Rudy and Anna Hochstetler. He is survived by : his parents, Joe M. Bontrager and Verba Bontrager (Hochstetler) of Nappanee; and his siblings, Virgil Bontrager (Doretta Lehman) of Shipshewana, IN, John Bontrager (Barbara Yoder) of Millersburg, IN, Merl Bontrager of Milford, IN, Janice Miller (Glen) of Shipshewana, Deb Lehman (Willie) of Nappanee, Jolene Schwartz (Andrew) of Nappanee and Cathy Slabaugh (Michael) of Nappanee.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 19th 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Ray Hochstetler Residence (955 Baltimore Ave, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
