He is survived by: his children, Philip DeFrees (Rhonda) of Muncie, IN and Elaine Howell (Charles) of Bluff City, TN; his grandchildren, Andrew DeFrees (Ashley) of Italy, Sarah Siegrist (Kerry) of Nashville, TN and Michael Howell (Cheri Tinney) of Elizabethton, TN; his stepgrandson Kristopher Bilbrey of Muncie; and his great grandchildren, Kane, Devyn DeFrees and Madeline Siegrist.
