He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Pomeroy and Vera Pomeroy; his wife Shirley Garner; and his siblings, Lila Parrish, Evelyn Beam, Peggy Kring and Robert Pomeroy.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Pomeroy (Nan) and Karen Pomeroy; and his grandsons, DJ Pomeroy (Allison), Jim Pomeroy (Stacy), Joshua Daumer and Mitchell Daumer (Jessica). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nappanee Missionary Church (70417 IN-19, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Bremen Cemetery (100 E 2nd St, Bremen, IN 46506).
