He is survived by: his wife Sara Slabaugh of Nappanee; his children, John Slabaugh of Nappanee, Lonnie Slabaugh (Susie) of Tippecanoe, IN, Sharon Slabaugh of Bremen, Lorraine Burkholder of Bremen, IN, Marlin Slabaugh (Jane) of Nappanee and David Slabaugh (Vonda) of Nappanee; and his siblings, Frieda Burkholder (Glen) of New Paris, IN and Lonnie Slabaugh (Verba) of Nappanee. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Devon Burkholder Residence (137 4B Rd, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
