He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bontrager; his stepchildren, Brittani Harber (Josh) of Noblesville, John Ward (Alicia) of Mishawaka, David and Evan Maldonado of Evansville; his stepgranddaughter Gabriella Harber; and his siblings, Reed Bennett (Kay) of Ohio, Lori Griefelt (Otto) of Ohio, Marsha Dearbeck (Jerry) of South Carolina, Barb Eisenbrandt (Mark) of Florida, Scott, Sharon and Steve.
