With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Borkholder of Nappanee, Indiana, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Borkholder and Sarah Borkholder (Miller); his son Daniel Borkholder; his great grandchild Katy Kuhns; and his siblings, Roman Borkholder, Malinda Bontrager, Katie Yoder, Gilbert Borkholder, Ruby Yoder, Tobias Borkholder, LeRoy Borkholder, Eddie Borkholder and Larry Borkholder.
He is survived by: his wife Rosanna Borkholder of Nappanee; his children, John Borkholder (Alma) of Goshen, IN, Lyle Borkholder (Carol) of Nappanee, Treva Kuhns (Alton) of Etna Green, IN and Beth Ann Herschberger (Leonard) of Nappanee; his siblings, Eli Borkholder (Clara) of Bremen and Irene Lehman (Eli) of Milford, IN; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Borkholder of Topeka, Elnora Borkholder of Nappanee and Sharon Schrock (Noah) of Nappanee. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Leonard Herschberger Residence. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
