She was predeceased by: her parents, Devon Troxel and Leatha Troxel (Longfield); her husband Ed Eilers; and her brothers, Richard, Jim and Ron Troxel.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Eilers (Debbie) of Syracuse, IN, Michelle Metzler of Hobart, WI, Cindy Eilers of Nappanee, Susan Plake (Keith) of Wellston, MI and Theresa Ramer (Randy) of Goshen; her grandchildren, Travis Metzler, Zeb Metzler, Amy Shepherd, Stacy Gunter, April Miller (Tony), Jamie Rensberger (Matt), Alicia Frye (Nate), Bethany Burkholder (Cody) and Melissa Reece (Hunter); and her sister Sharon Moore (Clyde) of Elkhart, IN.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions in Katherine's name can be given to The American Heart Association, Dunes Hospice, or the Nappanee American Legion Post #154.
