Lewis Metzler Naylor Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis Metzler Naylor of Nappanee, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Deltha Naylor (Metzler) and Wilbur Jerald Naylor; his stepmother Zola Naylor (Yoder); his former wife Ann Musselman; his son Matthew; his brother Stanley Naylor; and his siblings-in-law, Janet (Musselman), Paul Snyder and Earl Shutt.
He is survived by: his wife Belle Duerksen (Detwiler); his son Dan Naylor of Mishawaka, IN; his daughter-in-law Susanna Nalliah of Muncie, IN; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Naylor (Bundy) of Bluffton, OH and Joyce Shutt (Musselman) of Fairfield, PA; his stepchildren, John Duerksen (Sheila) of Souderton, PA and Jodi (Ron); his stepgrandchildren, Erin (Nick), Schwartz (Goshen), Michael Kilmer (Natalie) of Columbus, OH, Xander Duerksen of Harrisburg, PA and Savahn Duerksen of Souderton, PA; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Liam, Ava Schwartz and Teddy Kilmer. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
