He is survived by: his wife Loretta Kemp of Nappanee; his children, Shirlene Burkholder (Howard) of Rochester, IN, LaVon Kemp (Michelle) of Milford, IN, Darren Kemp (Anna) of Bristol, IN, Myron Kemp (Michelle) of Elkhart, IN, Nathan Kemp (Geneva) of Middlebury, IN, Cynthia Kemp of Shipshewana, IN and Julia Kemp of Shipshewana; his siblings, Harvey Kemp (Barbara) of Nappanee, Ray Kemp (Judy) of Nappanee, Melvin Kemp (Gayle) of Nappanee, Arlene Schwartz (Walter) of Etna Green, Eva Burkholder of Nappanee and Wilma Mast of Nappanee; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Yoder of Nappanee and Sarah Stutzman (Atlee) of Missouri. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Homer Slabaugh Residence (8563 W 1100 N, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
